500 grams red carrot
3 litre water
3 tsp mustard powder
4 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1L water for boiling carrot
Peel, wash n cut carrots into thin long slices.
Take a pan n boil the water add turmeric powder and carrot pieces, boil for 5 to 10 minutes till carrot becomes little soft.
Once its done drain out the excess water n let it cool completely.
Now in a glass jar pour water then add boiled carrot pieces, salt, chilli powder and mustard powder. Mix all the ingredients.
Place the jar in sunlight for 2-3 days
After 2-3 days Gajar ki Kanji would be ready to relish ... its a great drink for winter noons.
Keep it in refrigerator to make the shelf life longer or consume it within 3-4 weeks.
