Ingredients

  • 1 for white dough

  • 1 cup plain flour

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp milk powder

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 3/4 tsp instant dry active yeast

  • 2: for red dough

  • 1 cup plain flour

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1/3 cup beetroot purée

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp milk powder

  • 3/4 tsp instant dry active yeast

  • 3: for green dough

  • 1 cup plain flour

  • 1/3 cup spinach purée

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp milk powder

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 3/4 tsp instant dry active yeast

Directions

    White dough In a bowl mix all ingredients together and add water make soft dough.

    Take the dough in to clean platform and knead it for 4-5 minutes when the dough should be smooth after that add the butter, knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes.

    When the dough it ready, place it in a bowl and cover with a cling wrap and keep aside for a hour or till dough is double in size.

    Same process for red and green dough.

    After that each dough divided into 3 equal parts. Roll all dough into the size of tin. Firstly take white colour now red after that green now again white red green same process. Or you can make any design what ever you want.

    Put into greased butter bread tin or loaf pan and cover it with dry muslin cloth keep it aside for 1 hour. preheat oven at 200c for 10 min and baked it for 15 to 20 min.

    Cool slightly and demould the load from the tin and brush the loaf with the butter keep aside till completely cold. When it is completely cold, cut into slices according to your choice size.
