  • 1 kg amla / Gooseberry

  • 3 1/2 cup sugar


  • Wash gooseberries with water. Boil them for 2-3 minutes. Then drain out the excess water and allow it to cool down completely.
  • Separate its edges and dessed it and place them in a bowl.
  • Add the sugar into the gooseberries. Cover the bowl and keep it aside as it is for 3 days.
  • After 3 days ,strain out the gooseberries through a sieve. Spread them on a plate .Place it under the sun for 2 days so that it gets dried completely.
  • Amla candy is ready , store it in an airtight jar.
