"Baked Cheesy Chana Jor"

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Kabuki chana soaked overnight 2 cups & boiled

  • Refined oil to fry 3-4 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste atleast 1/4th teaspoon

  • Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon

  • Turmeric 1/4 teaspoon

  • Red chillie powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Roasted Cumin Powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Baking powder 1 pinch

  • Kastoori methi 1/2 tablespoon

  • Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon

  • Amul cheese cube 1 grated

  • Veg Mayonnaise 1tablespoon

  • Honey 1 tablespoon

  • Tomato sauce 2 tablespoon

  • Red chillie Flakes to sprinkle on top 1/4teaspoon

  • Oregano herb to sprinkle on top 1/4teaspoon

Directions

    Preheat the oven at 180 degree

  • 02

    Boil the Kabuli chana with salt & baking powder

  • 03

    Drain and keep aside to dry. Use a towel to dry them.

    In a pan,add oil & toss in the Kabuli chana

  • 05

    Add in all the spices along with salt

  • 06

    Lastly add the mayonnaise,honey, Kastoori methi leaves,tomato sauce & Amul cheese cube...toss it nicely

    On a baking tray lay out the kabuli chana and bake in the pre heated oven for 40 minutes

    Keep checking as all ovens vary in this aspect

    Before serving put chillie Flakes & Oregano with cheese grated on top

    Serve hot

    My Tip: can add a juice of half lemon at the time of serving
