  • 1 cup rava

  • 1 cup curd

  • 1/2 cup water or as needed

  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste

  • 1 tsp eno salt

  • 1/4 tsp orange and green powder food colour


  • In a bowl combine rava, curd and salt. cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile grease the idli moulds and heat water in the cooker. Take 3 bowl and add food colour in 2 of them.
  • Add water if needed. Add eno fruit salt mix well. Don't over mix it. Divide the mixture equally and mix the colour.
  • With help of piping bag or spoon fill the moulds. Steam the idli for 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot with sambar or favourite chutney.
