Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1. 🥗FOR CARROT RICE🥘


  • 1 cup Basamati Rice cooked


  • 1 carrot grated


  • 1 tsp ghee


  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 10 cashew nuts whole/cut


  • 1/4 onion finely chopped


  • 2 green chilli slit length wise


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp salt (adjust your taste)


  • 2. 🥗FOR GHEE RICE 🍜


  • 1 Cup cooked Basamati Rice


  • 1 tbsp Ghee


  • 3/4 tsp Cumin seeds


  • 1 bay leaf


  • 2 cardamom


  • 2 cloves


  • 1 star anise


  • 1 inch cinnamon stick


  • 15 black pepper whole


  • 15 cashews whole


  • 1/4 Onion thinlly sliced


  • 2 Garlic cloves finely Chopped


  • 1/2 inch Ginger chopped


  • 1 tsp salt( according to your taste)


  • 3. 🍜FOR SPINACH PEAS RICE🍛


  • 1 cup cooked Basamati Rice


  • 1/4 cup fresh peas


  • 1 tsp Ghee


  • 2 green chilli slit


  • 1/4 sliced onion


  • 1 cup chopped spinach leaves


  • 1 tsp salt or to taste

Directions

  • FOR CARROT RICE
  • Firstly take the pan add ghee optionally you can use oil. Next add mustard and cumin seeds. Allow to splutter
  • Additionally add cashews and fry them till they turns golden brown colour.
  • Now add chopped onion and green chilli fry until they turns translucent.
  • Time to add grated carrot and fry for a minute. Till they shrink and change its colour.
  • Once the carrot are cooked. Add turmeric powder and salt to taste. Give a good stir. Also add cooked rice. Further mix well without breaking rice grains. Cook for a minute.
  • Now carrot rice is ready.
  • 2. FOR GHEE RICE
  • Take the pan add ghee , once ghee is melt and heat sufficiently add all masala ingredients fry for a minute. Until they turns aromatic.
  • Next add cashew nuts fry them to golden brown colour.
  • Next Add sliced onions, Ginger and garlic. Fry till the raw smell of Ginger garlic disappears.
  • Finally add cooked rice and salt to taste, mix well without breaking rice grains. Cook for a minute.
  • Now Ghee Rice is ready.
  • 3. SPINACH PEAS RICE
  • Take a pan add ghee or oil, add chopped onion and green chilli. Fry till they translucent.
  • Next add chopped spinach leaves fry for a minute till they shrinks and change the colour.
  • Once the spinach leaves cooked then add peas and fry till they are cooked.
  • Finally add cooked rice and salt to taste. Gently Mix well. Cook for a minute.
  • Now spinach peas Rice is ready.
  • Take a large plate and add the tricolour rice in equal Portion one by one to make a flag colour . Finally Tricolour Rice is ready ..
