Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Paneer cubes 250 gms


  • Capsicum 1


  • Red round pepper 4-5


  • Onion petals 1/2 cup


  • Black pepper 1/2 tbs


  • Salt 1 tbs


  • Lemon juice 1 tbs


  • Yoghurt 1/2 cup


  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tbs


  • Dry Mixed herbs 1 tbs


  • Butter 2 tbs

Directions

  • Cut paneer and washed veggies and dice into given sizes and keep aside. Peel the onion and pluck the petals and cut into half.
  • Preheat a pan add 1 tbs of butter and add capsicum and onion , stir fry in high flame. Keep aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add yogurt and whisk till smooth.Now add salt, black , red chilli powder, lemon, herbs. Mix well and add paneer pieces and vegetables in it and mix nicely such that everything incorporates well.
  • Cling wrap the bowl and refrigerate for minimum 1 hour. After an hour, take out the marinated paneer and vegetables from the fridge and prepare to grill.
  • Take bamboo skewers and start piercing in the vegetables in a pattern like : red round pepper then capsicum, onion then paneer and again repeat the same.
  • Prepare all the skewers and keep aside in a tray.
  • Heat non stick , brush some butter and heat. Once the pan is hot, place the skewers and keep brushing butter from sides so that the vegetables get grilled nicely.
  • Keep turning the skewer in regular intervals so that the paneer and veggies get grilled from all sides.
  • Place the steaks on the serving plate and serve hot with any of your favorite chutney or ketchup.
