Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • Shallots - around 20


  • White Vinegar - 3-4 tbsp


  • Beet root - 3-4 small slices


  • Salt - 1 tbsp or to taste


  • Sugar - 1 tbsp


  • Water - 1- ½ cup approx

Directions

  • Take the shallots and peel them. Wash them and pa
  • Take a sauce pan, add water, salt, beet root, sugar and bring to boil. Boil till the salt sugar dissolves which will take only few mins. Let it stand for a min or two.
  • Add the vinegar and shallots. Let it cool down completely. Now tansfer it along with water to a clean sterilized jar, add the beet root slices on top or you can discard it if you wish.
  • Cover and store in refrigerator. Can be served after 24 hrs.
  • This can go for 3-4 weeks refrigerated. Always use a clean spoon everytime you serve.
