In a bowl, add butter and blend well
Add sugar and blend for 4-5 minutes
Add egg yolks and vanilla extract. Blend until well combined
Incorporate flour and salt. Mix well. Knead into smooth dough
Divide dough into 3 equal big portion and 1 small portion
To first big dough, add kesar food colouring and mix well
To second big dough add green food colouring and mix well
To small dough add blue colour and mix well
Now cover all dough portions with cling wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour
Now dust 3 parchment paper with flour and place 3 color dough on each
Roll the green colour dough into rectangle
Roll white Kesar dough into same sized rectangle
Flip vanilla or white rectangle onto green rectangle
Flip Kesar rectangle onto white rectangle
With help of parchment paper, roll the rectangles slowly to form a log
Cover the dough refrigerate for 1 hour
preheat oven to 180 , line baking tray with parchment paper
Now remove parchment paper. Cut the log into 1/4 inch thick cookies
Place them on baking tray with gap between them
Now take small portions of blue dough and using toothpick make small spokes.
Place them over centre of each cookies, gently pressing it
Bake for 10-13 minutes until slightly golden brown
Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack completely
Serve as required. Store in airtight container
