Wash , clean and chopped the guavas. Add 2 cup of water so that guavas should submerged. Pressure cook the guavas for 3 whistle and cool it down completely.
Strain the guava juice and guava pulp. Guava pulp can be used to make jam.
Now preheat a pan and add the guava juice and give it a boil. Next add sugar and stir well.
After sometime sugar will dissolve and start thickning. Stir occasionally and mix well.
Now after 5 minutes in low flame the sugar dissolved completely and the jelly will start thickening. In this stage add citric acid or lemon juice this will preserve your jelly for long time.
Now add a pinch of green food color(optional) and give it a mix.Now remove jelly from flame and allow to cool it down completely.
For storing the jelly, you need to use sterlize glass jar. Pour the jelly and tighten the lid.
Whenever you are consuming the jelly use only clean and dry spoon.
