raw jackfruit 1 kgs
Salt 1/2 cups
Cumin Seeds 2 tbsp
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice 3 tbsp
Vinegar 3 tbsp
Oil 1 cups
Directions
Apply oil to the knife and peel the jackfruit. Further cut it into one inch cubes.
Pressure cook the pieces till two whistles.( jackfruit should be firm )
Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds, mustard seeds , sea salt and cook for 2 minutes.
Add cooked jackfruit cubes, turmeric powder and cook for five minutes.
Add lemon juice and vinegar and stir well and remove from heat.
Put in airtight jar and store.
