Ingredients

Serves : 100
  • 2½ kg tomato


  • 250 gm pumpkin


  • 250 gm onion


  • 20 gm ginger


  • 750 gm sugar


  • 125 gm vinegar


  • 1/2 tsp citric acid


  • 1/2 tsp sodium banzoate


  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Wash the tomato with water.
  • Cut the pieces of tomato, pumpkin onion, ginger.
  • In a cooker add tomato, pumpkin, onion, ginger pieces and cook for 3 whistle.
  • Let it cool and grind it.
  • Now sieve it.
  • Cook for 1 boil and add citric acid.
  • Now add sugar, vinegar and cook for thick consistency.
  • Now add salt, red chilli powder and sodium banzoate. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Switch off the flame and add black pepper in it.
  • Let it cool and transfer into a jar.
  • Store for a year.
