Soak the agar agar in cream for 10 minutes. Drop that to a pan and cook that in a low flame until everything is well mixed and no traces of agar agar r seen
Transfer it to a bowl, making sure every bit is out. Add in butter and mix well
Now comes liquid glucose, salt and glycerin. Beat it well using a beater
Add about 1 1/2 cups of sugar and mix well with hands, after its mixed well. Add another 1 1/2 cup and mix well.
Transfer the fondant to working surface. Now add more sugar if u feel it’s not stiff enough, and knead for 4-5 minutes. 1 added another 1/2 cup sugar. Actually depends upon weather.
Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for minimum of 20 hours. After that keep for a hour or two in counter top so that it comes to room temperature
Start kneading the fondant in a cornflour or powdered sugar dusted surface.Knead for a couple of minutes. Fondant is ready to be used . To colour the fondant, take powder colour, the same colour which we get in every grocery shop. and incorporate it really well. Add more sugar, or cornflour if gets sticky and if colour is not vibrant add more colour
And apply the fondant by making it smooth on a working surface with the help of rolling pin.
Cover the cake completely with fondough manually or with the help of gadgets and very carefully cut the extra dough from the edges with the help of a pizza cutter. And garnish with ur favourite shapes.
