Grease a cake pan and preheat oven @180° for 10 mins .
In a small bowl add the coffee powder and 2-3 tsp warm water or milk, stir well and keep aside.
In a mixing bowl take the curd, stir and make it smooth. Add the baking soda, mix well and set aside for about 10 mins.
Take the chocolate chips and mix with ½ tsp flour and set aside.
Sieve the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder in a mixing bowl, mix well and set aside.
Add sugar and milk to the curd and whisk till the sugar is melted. Add the melted coffee, vanilla essence, oil and stir well.
Add in the flour mix and fold gently and make a smooth batter without lumps. Add the chocolate chips and stir gently.
Pour the batter into the greased pan. Preheat the oven at 180 ° for 10 mins and bake the cake for 35-40 mins. Start checking from 35 mins. A tooth pick inserted should come out clean.
Remove it from the oven, let it cool down and invert it.
To make the chocolate frosting, take the cream and chocolate chips in a sauce pan and heat it, when chocolate starts to melt switch off the flame. Add the cocoa powder and mix well till everything is combined well and smooth. Set aside. Your frosting is ready.
Now take the cake spread the sugar syrup over the cake. Now evenly spread the frosting all over the cake with the help of a stapula or knife and finally dust the cocoa powder over the cake. Cut and serve.
