Whole wheat flour 2 cups
Roasted sesame 1 tablespoon
Roasted mix dry fruits(cashew,walnut,almonds) 1 tablespoon
Powdered sugar 1 cup
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
Milk 1 cup
Oil 1 tablespoon
Sprig vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
First sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and powdered sugar twice.
Now mix vanilla extract in wet ingredients well .
Now add sesame seeds and 2/3 of dry fruits in dry ingredients well.
Start adding wet mixture in dry ingredients gradually to make lump free batter.
Grease a cake pan. Preheat the oven for 10 mins @180°.
Pour the batter into the greased pan. Garnish with remaining dry fruits and bake for 40 mins. A tooth pick inserted should come out clean.
Remove from oven, let it cool down completely, demould, cut and serve.
Healthy, power packed cake is ready to relish.
