Preheat oven to 180C
Prepare buttermilk by adding milk and vinegar and set aside
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda
In a bowl mix sugar, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla essence
mash 4-5 ripe bananas
Mix banana puree to wet ingredients
Mix dry flour mixture to wet mixture and fold gently
Pour in a greased and lined loaf tin
Bake for 30-35 minutes. Until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean
Serve warm for breakfast. This bread makes a yummy weekend snack .
