Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 cup flour


  • 1 cup fresh cream or Malai


  • 3/4 Cup sugar


  • 2 eggs


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1/2 tsp baking soda


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp butterscotch essence


  • 2-3 drops yellow food colour


  • 1 tbsp butterscotch syrup


  • 4 tbsp chopped Almonds

Directions

  • Sieve the dry ingredients and keep them aside
  • In a mixer Blender add sugar fresh cream egg yolks and blend till the sugar dissolve
  • Take out the mixture from Blender in a bowl and add yellow food colour butterscotch essence and butterscotch syrup
  • Fold the dry ingredients slowly until no lumps
  • Beat the egg whites till soft peak
  • Fold the egg whites slowly in the mixture
  • Spread the chopped Almonds on top
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 30 to 35 minutes till a skewer comes out clean
  • Demould when cool and add butterscotch syrup before serving
