Preheat oven to 180 degree
Grease two cake pan lined with parchment paper
Beat butter extract ans sugar in medium bowl with electric mixer till light and fluffy,
Beat in eggs one at a time, Stir in sifted flour and milk in two batches
Separate 1/3 of the batter and few drops of brown colour and keep aside. In the 2/3 add few drops of egg yellow colour
Transfer the batter into two pans and bake the yellow and brown batter in separate pans for 50 to 55 minutes.
Remove from oven, let the cake stand in pan for 5 minutes.
Now cut the yellow batter cake into two equal parts.
Place one part of the yellow cake and spread the strawberry preserve.
Next place the brown cake and above to it, spread the remaining strawberry preserve.
Place the second yellow cake and cut into pieces.
