BAKED VANILLA ICE CREAM SANDESH

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups milk powder


  • 4 cups water


  • 1/2 cup condensed milk


  • 1 teaspoon sprig vanilla essence


  • 1/2 cup date jaggery


  • 1 tablespoon yogurt


  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder


  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice


  • 2 tablespoons ghee


  • 1/2 cup almond powder


  • 7 - 8 cherries

Directions

  • Add water in milk powder and beat it well . Boil it in a pan .
  • Add 2 tablespoons water in lemon juice and add it to boiling milk .
  • Boil on high flame for 3 - 4 minutes or till the milk separates from water . Remove it from heat and add 1 cup of cold water in it and cover it for 10 minutes .
  • Now take a thin cloth and put milk in it and drain all the water . Now , this is ready to homemade cheese which is left in cloth .
  • In a large mixing bowl add date jaggery , yogurt , condensed milk and cardamom powder and ghee and crumble paneer mix it well .
  • Now add the almond powder and again mix well .
  • Take a baking fish and grease it lightly ghee .
  • Now pour the mixture into the baking pan and press it firmly .
  • Pre - heat the oven to 180°C for 10 minutes .
  • Bake the Sandesh for 15 minutes at 180°C.
  • Remove from oven and cut it in any shape .
  • Garnished with the cherries and Enjoyyyyyyyy ☺☺
