Whole-wheat flour 2 cups
Instant Coffee powder 1/2 tablespoon
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Baking soda 1/3 teaspoon
Dessicated coconut 1 tablespoon
Fresh malai 1/4 cup
Milk 1 cup
Sprig vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Powdered sugar 1 cup
For garnishing: small kiwi pieces 1/2 cup
Dessicated coconut 1/5 cup
Chocolate shavings 2 tablespoons
Sieve flour, coffee powder, baking powder,baking soda, powdered sugar twice and keep aside.
Now add malai in milk and blend till both mix nicely.
Now add dessicated coconut and vanilla extract in dry ingredients and mix again.
Start adding little milk-mixture at a time , in dry ingredients to make lumpfree batter.
Pour ready batter in greased and dusted cake tin.
Bake it for 40 minutes in preheated oven.
Insert toothpick to check, weather cake is ready or bake for another 5 minutes.
Let it cool on wire rack for 30 minutes.
In the mean time, for garnishing, mix chocolate shavings and coconut in a bowl.
Now sprinkle this mixture on cool cake all over.
Spread kiwi on centre of cake.
Delicious coffee Cake is ready to relish.
