Ingredients

  • Maida 1 cup

  • Condensed milk 1/2 tin

  • Butter 60 grams

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Baking soda 1/4 tsp

  • Baking powder 3/4teaspoon

  • Cocoa powder 3 1/2 tea spoon

  • Vinegar 1 teaspoon

  • Thums Up 90 ml

  • Del Monte cherries 1 tin

  • Whipping cream 1kg

  • Essence 3 tbsp

  • Colours required for making flowers 5

  • Coffee 1 tsp

  • SUGAR 5 TBSP

    Hello friends here I have made a chocolate sponge cake with cherries in between the layers

    A very important thing to keep in mind is .. Using single list of ingredients makes one 7 inch cake

    Just double the quantity for making 2 cakes of 7 inch each..

    This recipe requires two cakes of 7 inch Each

    Now let's start off with procedure....

    Things a Baker needs to do before baking a cake are as follows.... ***collect all the ingredients ***collect all the equipments and instruments may it be measuring equipments (cups and spoons) spatula,Flattener , xyx anything. ***measure each ingredient required to bake and keep aside. ****All the ingredients used should be at room temperature ***keep the baking Pan greased and apply butter paper. ***before you start beating the batter start your oven and keep it for preheating.

    Now let's start making the cake

    Collect all the dry ingredients first.. Add in Maida

    Then Add. . Baking powder..Sieve them thrice so that the air gets Incorporated

    Add in Coco Powder..

    sieve the ingredients

    we will be using cholesterol free Nutralite butter in this recipe

    in a bowl add in butter

    add in condensed milk to the butter

    add in vanilla essence

    whisk in all the liquid ingredients at low speed for around 10 minutes

    preheat the oven at 1 80 degree Celsius for around 10 minutes

    slowly add in all the dry ingredients and mix....whisk for around 2 minutes and then add 90 ml of thumbs up little by little... We will be adding half quantity of Thumbsup 1st and then add in the rest quantity.

    quickly take out the batter in a baking pan and keep it in the oven

    our cake is baked properly. put in a sattestick in between the cake... it comes out clean our cake is baked properly

    @@@@ Lets make an Icebath Now *** ice bath is actually a technique used to maintain the temperature of the cream *** for this we require lots of ice cubes immersed in chilled water. *** Take a big kadai with ice cubes and chilled water in it *** into this we will be putting our bowl of cream and beat

    in a kadai there is chilled water with ice and into it ...is our bowl of cream

    start whipping the cream.. To This cream we will add Vanilla essence and use it in our cake..

    so as to make the flower we require coloured cream in this cake I have used multiple colours to make colourful roses

    this is the nozzle which I have used to make the flowers with the help of this we make beautiful Petals of all roses

    this is called fingernail on top of which we will be making flowers

    add in little cream on top of the fingernail and then put a small butter paper

    let's start making the roses now

    the pointed tip of the nozzle will be above side and with this we will make rose

    take a round in centre with the help of nozzle then start making patterns one after the other

    this way our rose will be made

    similarly make Roses of all the colours which ever you want to put up

    the roses are ready to be decorated on the cake

    I have used the Canned cherries... slice them and remove the seeds...

    Make a Coffee - Sugar Syrup.. To 1 tsp of Coffee..Add in 5 tbsp of sugar and 1 cup of water.. Stir and use. put a 1st layer of cake on the board and add in syrup.

    Put on whipping cream..

    Flatten it out with the help of the Flattener

    Add in sliced Cherries on top of it

    Add in second cake layer

    Similarly add in sugar Syrup

    add in Cherries.. You can also add chocolate chips if you have in between the layers

    make a hole from the center. here we will insert our barbie

    Again put the cream on top

    insert the barbie and add in cream with the help of piping bag.

    cover the entire cake with the cream

    Finally Put on all the roses with the help of small scissor on top. Take a leaf making nozzle and pipe out small leaves in between the cake.

    The main tip to make a Barbie frock is.. Before putting the layers.. cut all the layers in decreasing order... Which means.. The longest will be at the base and the smallest on top.. Doing this will automatically create a slant a frock has..
