Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • All purpose flour 1 cup


  • Sprigs all natural Demerara brown sugar with Sri Lankan cinnamon 1 cup


  • Eggs 2


  • Milk 1/4 cup


  • Refined oil 1/4 cup


  • Apple very finely chopped 1 cup


  • Apple thinly sliced 1 apple


  • Sprigs all natutal vanilla extract 1 tsp

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180C for 10 minutes.
  • Sieve all purpose flour and baking powder 2-3 times and keep aside.
  • Now beat the eggs until fluffy.
  • Add in milk, oil, Sprig all natural vanilla essence, Sprig all natural Demerara sugar and then beat again.
  • Now add the dry ingredients into wet.
  • Mix with a rubber spatula.
  • Now add the finely chopped apples into the batter.
  • Pour the batter in a greased loaf pan. Arrange sliced apples over it uniformly.
  • Now bake the cake for 30 minutes. If a toothpick comes out clean, the cake is done.
  • Cut and enjoy the cake endlessly.
