Preheat oven at 180°C.
Shift flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together, 3-4 times.
In a separate bowl add sugar and yogurt. Mix well till sugar dissolve.
Now add colour and baking soda to it and mix. Leave for 5 minutes
Now add oil, sprig vanilla extract and mix well.
Add dry and wet ingredients with a spatula using cut and fold method.
Pour the batter in greased and lined pan and tap to release any air bubble trapped.
Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 mins or till skewer inserted in middle of cake comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let it rest for 5 mins in pan then invert on a wire rack and cool completely before decorating with your favorite icing.
