Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Dry Grapes/ Raisins - 1/4 Cup


  • Dates - 1/2 Cup


  • Tooty Fruity - 1/2 Cup


  • Grape Juice - 2 Cups


  • Warm water - 1/2 Cup


  • Brown Sugar - 1 Cup


  • Oil - 2/3 Cup


  • Flour - 2 Cups


  • Baling Powder - 1 TSP


  • Baking Soda - 1/2 TSP


  • Cinnamon Powder - 1/2 TSP


  • Cardamom Powder - 1/2 TSP


  • Salt - 1 TSP


  • Vanilla Essence - 1TSP


  • Badam - 1/2 Cup


  • Walnut - 1/4 Cup

Directions

  • Soak all the dry fruits in grape juice
  • Wait for two hours
  • After two hours, take a bowl add brown sugar
  • Add warm water
  • Add oil and mix all the ingredients till brown sugar dissolves
  • Add all purpose flour
  • Add baking powder and baking soda
  • Add cinnamon powder
  • Sieve the mixed ingredients to the brown sugar mix
  • Mix all the ingredients well
  • Add soaked dry fruits
  • Mix them well
  • Add badam and walnut to the batter
  • Add the remaining grape juice to form the batter consistency
  • Grease the cake tray with butter. Add the cake batter
  • Add rock salt to the cooker and place a stand
  • Preheat the cooker by closing the lid without the weight
  • After 5 mins, carefully place the cake tray with batter
  • Cook the mix. High flame - 15 mins. Low flame - 30 mins.
  • After done, take a tooth pick insert into the cake to see whether the cake is done.
  • Take the cake from the tray once it is cooled down
  • Simple and yummy Christmas plum cake is ready :)
