Whole wheat flour 1 cup
Almond flour 1/2 cup
Desiccated coconut 1/3 cup
Powdered sugar 1 cup
Milk 1 cup
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Baking soda 1/3 teaspoon
Oil 1 tablespoon
Sprig vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Coco powder 1/4 cup
First mix both flours, coco powder, baking powder , powdered sugar and baking soda in a bowl.
Now sieve these dry ingredients twice.
Now mix milk and oil till both Incorporated nicely.
Add desiccated coconut and vanilla extract in dry ingredients and mix nicely.
Now start adding milk mixture in dry ingredients in two batches.
Use cut and fold technique to prepare batter.
Now grease and dust cake tin.
Pour cake batter in dusted tin and tap it twice.
Bake cake for 180 degrees for 40 minutes in preheated oven.
Do toothpick test to check.
Let it cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.
Spread desiccated coconut and garnish almonds on ready cake and serve it.
