In a mixing bowl add oil , sugar , yoghurt and vanilla essence. Whisk well then add flour , baking soda.
Add milk to make a smooth batter. Now grease the tin with oil and dust flour.
Preheat the pan with salt and stand for 10 minutes. Pour the batter in greased tin and tap twice.
Bake the cake for 45 minutes. After its done check with toothpick and allow the cake to cool down.
Demould the cake keep aside.
Next start making guava slices. For that wash , clean and slice the guava.
Next preheat a pan add sugar , when its started melting stir continuously. Then add butter and bubbles will start appearing then add guava slices. Cook for 2 minutes then add lemon juice ,and vanilla essence and turn off the flame.
Now place the cake and start placeing guava slices one by one to make a rose design. Now decorate woth guava jam on the top and on the rose petals.
Drizzle some honey on the top the slice the cake and serve.
