  • All pupose flour 2 cup

  • Sugar 1 cup

  • Oil 1 cup

  • Yoghurt 1/2 cup

  • Baking powder 1 tbs

  • Sprig vanilla essence 1 tbs

  • Butter 1/4th cup

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

  • Honey 2 tbs

  • Sliced Guava 1 cup

  • Guava jam 2 tbs

  • Lemon juice 1 tbs


  • In a mixing bowl add oil , sugar , yoghurt and vanilla essence. Whisk well then add flour , baking soda.
  • Add milk to make a smooth batter. Now grease the tin with oil and dust flour.
  • Preheat the pan with salt and stand for 10 minutes. Pour the batter in greased tin and tap twice.
  • Bake the cake for 45 minutes. After its done check with toothpick and allow the cake to cool down.
  • Demould the cake keep aside.
  • Next start making guava slices. For that wash , clean and slice the guava.
  • Next preheat a pan add sugar , when its started melting stir continuously. Then add butter and bubbles will start appearing then add guava slices. Cook for 2 minutes then add lemon juice ,and vanilla essence and turn off the flame.
  • Now place the cake and start placeing guava slices one by one to make a rose design. Now decorate woth guava jam on the top and on the rose petals.
  • Drizzle some honey on the top the slice the cake and serve.
