Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • Cake Flour.sifted 1 1/2 cups


  • Baking Powder 1 1/2 tsp


  • Unsalted Butter 1/2 cups


  • Vanilla Extract 1/2 tsp


  • Milk 1/2 cups


  • Eggs 2 nos


  • Sugar 1 cups


  • Salt 1/4 tsp


  • Sliced Strawberries for the layers 3/4 cups


  • For Chocolate Ganache: White Chocolate 100 gms


  • Fresh Cream 200 ml


  • For Syrup: Confectioner's Sugar 2 tbsp


  • Hot Water 2 tbsp


  • Vanilla Extract 1/4 tsp

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Arrange two 8-inch cake pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add in the butter as 3 to 4 batches(1-2 teaspoons at a time). Beat until the mixture resembles coarse sand, using an electric mixer set on low speed.
  • Add in the sugar as batches(1-2 tablespoon at a time). Beat until the mixture resembles fine damp sand. 5.Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each addition. 6.Add in the vanilla, milk and beat just until blended. Do not over-beat.
  • Divide the batter among the prepared pans and bake until a wooden skewer inserted in the center comes out clean for about 25 to 35 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from oven and cool for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the cake from pan and remove the parchment paper. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Frosting Preparation:In a bowl, whip the cream with confectioner's sugar and vanilla using an electric mixer set on medium-high speed. Keep it aside.
  • or ganache-Heat 200ml fresh cream and pour over the chopped white chocolate, do not stir it, keep it 2-3 min.after mix it well.
  • Allow it cool.Again heat fresh cream and pour over the chopped dark chocolate, do not stir it, keep it 2-3 min.after mix it well. Allow it cool
  • Sugar Syrup Preparation: In a bowl, mix together the hot water, sugar and vanilla until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
  • Once the cake is cooled, level the cakes. If you need, remove the sides(brown parts) too.
