  • Amaranth flour/ Rajgiri atta 1 cup

  • Clarified butter 1/2 cup

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

  • Yoghurt 4 tbs

  • Baking powder 1 tbs

  • Chopped nuts 4 tbs

  • Sprig vanilla essence 1 tbs

  • Milk 1/2 cup


  • In a mixing bowl add sugar , ghee , yoghurt and give it a mix. Now in the same bowl add amaranth flour , baking powder , vanilla essence and combine together.
  • Add milk little by little and make a smooth batter. Next sprinkle nuts and combine.
  • Grease the tin and preheat the pan. Pour the bater and bake the cake for 45 minutes.
  • When its done check with toothpick and allow the cake to cool completely.
  • Now dust some powdered sugar and decorate the cake with nuts.
  • Slice the cake and serve.
