Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • All purpose flour 2 cup


  • Corn strach 3 tbsp


  • Baking powder 1 tsp


  • Baking soda 1 tsp


  • Salt 1/4 tsp


  • Vegetable oil 1/2 cup


  • Hot water 1/2 cup


  • Caster sugar 1 cup


  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp

Directions

  • In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients like flour, corn starch, baking soda, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  • Into the same bowl add the Mixture of water and oil along with vanilla essence.
  • Further mix it well in cut and fold method without the hand mixer.
  • Pour the batter into the baking tray. Top it up with roasted cashewnuts.
  • Pre - heat the oven @ 180°c and bake it for 35 mins.
  • Demould the cake once its completely cooled down.
  • Best served with hot chocolate milk.
