Rule of baking get all the ingredients into room temperature.
Beat ghee and sugar until the texture becomes white from pale yellow. Silky smooth texture.
Add vanilla essence and beat for about 30 secs.
Further add each egg at a time and beat it for about 40 secs in high speed.
Add maida, salt and baking powder and combine the batter well. Continue to add milk and mix it well.
Pre- heat the oven at 180°c and Bake it for 30 mins.
Demould the cake once its completely cooled down.
Best served with hot tea/coffee.
