  • 2 cups fine semolina/rawa

  • 2 cups curd

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 1-2 cups milk or as required to make the cake batter to a falling consistency

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence


  • Take 2 cups rawa,two cups dahi(curd),two cups sugar and mix together.
  • Add milk, vanilla essence and mix till you reach falling consistency
  • Keep it aside for 30 minutes
  • Add baking soda 5 minutes before cooking it.
  • Pour batter in cake tin and place it on a fry pan. Cook over high flame and cover it with lid.
  • Cake is done in 10 minutes.
  • I have Baked the cake in mugs for 5-10 minutes but this cake tastes best when cooked over gas stove.
