Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • All Purpose Flour – 2 cup




  • Cocoa Powder – 3/4 cup




  • Castor Sugar – 2 cup




  • Baking Powder – 2 tsp




  • Baking Soda – 1 tsp




  • Salt – 1 tsp




  • Instant Coffee Powder – 1 tsp




  • Buttermilk – 1 cup




  • Oil – 1/2 cup




  • Vanilla Essence – 2 tsp




  • Rum – 2 tblspn




  • Boiling Water – 1 cup

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 170 Degree Celsius.
  • Oil baking tray & dust with flour.
  • Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
  • Mix sugar to the flour mixture
  • Mix oil, buttermilk, vanilla in a bowl.
  • Make a well in the flour mixture & then add the oil mix.
  • Add coffee powder & hot water to the batter &mix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake for 30 to 40 mins.
  • Remove & cool for 15 mins.
  • Decorate it with frosting & sprinklers.
