All ingredients mentioned in recipe should be at room temperature.Preheat oven to 170 and line two 8 inch cake pans
In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, eggs, vanilla extract, sour cream and coffee
In a separate bowl, sieve flour, baking soda and salt. Add sugar and Cardamom. Mix well
Slowly add butter and mix until mixture resembles coarse sand.
Gradually add wet ingredients and mix until just combined
Divide the batter and pour into prepared pans. level evenly
Bake for 20-30 minutes until done
Allow to cool for 30 minutes. Demould and cool completely
In a bowl, add 420g butter and blend well
Gradually add icing sugar and blend well
Add coffee, vanilla extract and salt. Blend well
Slice top of cakes. Now place it over serving dish. Start Frosting top layer evenly
Place second cake and do crumb coating
Chill cake and do final level frosting.
Slice and serve
