Ingredients

Serves 4

  • whole wheat flour-1/2 cup

  • powdered sugar-1/2 cup

  • Butter milk-1/2 cup

  • Baking powder-1 tsp

  • Baking soda-1/2 tsp

  • cinnamon powder-1 tsp

  • vanilla extract-1 tsp

  • melted butter-1/4 cup

  • chopped walnut-1/2 cup

Directions

    In a bowl take butter milk, sugar, Butter, vanilla extract and mix well.

    in another bowl sieve whole wheat flour, Baking powder, Baking soda,salt and cinnamon powder for twice.Add this in butter milk mixture and gently fold to make a smooth batter.

    Add walnut into the batter and fold with cut and fold method.

    Preheat oven@180' for 10 mints.pour the cake batter into the greased pan and tap for 2-3 times to release the air bubbles. Bake for 30-35 minutes or untill a thooth pick inserted comes out clean.
