Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 11/2 cup all purpose flour


  • 3/4 cup sugar


  • 1 cup curd


  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder


  • 1 tsp sprig vanilla essence


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 1/4 tsp red food colour


  • 2 spoon powdered sugar dissolved in one fourth cup water to make syrup

Directions

  • Preheat oven at 180°
  • Mix sugar and curd till sugar dissolve
  • Add baking powder,baking soda and vanilla essence and mix it
  • Add flour,cocoa powder and mix it
  • Add red food colour and pour this batter in greased mould and bake in oven for 20 min at 180°
  • Cool on wire rack and cut in two slices
  • Apply sugar syrup on one portion and cover it with whipped cream
  • Place second portion on it and brush with sugar syrup
  • Apply whipped cream on it evenly
  • Fill whipped cream in piping bag and make design with it
  • Put cake crumbs on middle portion
  • Cake is ready to eat
