Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • All purpose flour 200 grams


  • Powder sugar 150 grams


  • Cocco powder 2-3 tablespoons


  • Sprig natural bourbon exteact 1/2 teaspoon


  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon


  • Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon


  • Oil 150 ml


  • Milk 150 ml


  • Eggs 2-3

Directions

  • Assemble all the required ingredients . In a mixing bowl take all purpose flour baking powder and baking soda, sift 2-3 times and keep aside
  • Now divide this sifted flour in two equal halves
  • Add cocco powder to one half and mix well or sift again preferably
  • In this way two types of dry sifted flours will be ready, one is vanilla or white flour and another is chocolate or cocoa powder flavoured flour
  • Now in a mixing bowl take eggs and sprig natural Bourbon Vanilla extract and mix well
  • Add approximately 1/2 teaspoon of sprig natural Bourbon Vanilla extract to end
  • With the help of a hand blender beat eggs until light and fluffy
  • Now add milk and oil to the beaten eggs and beat it again with the help of hand blender until light and fluffy
  • Now divide this beaten wet mixture into two equal halves
  • Add Vanilla or white sifted flour to one half of the wet mixture and mix well until a uniform cake batter
  • Now ,add chocolate or cocoa powder flavoured sifted flour to another half of the wet mixture and mix well until a uniform chocolate cake batter
  • in this way there will be two types of cakes batters, one is white or Vanilla flavour and another is brown and chocolate flavoured cake batter
  • take a oven proof dish, grease it with some oil and sprinkles some flour on it, to avoid sticking of cake in bottom
  • Now take chocolate batter , and drop a tablespoon of batter in gresed dish with some gap . Alternatively , drop vanilla cake batter in gaps to give a pattern of brown and white , as shown in the picture
  • Repeat the process, 3-4 times
  • Now take a knife , and and rotate it in cake batter , randomly to give marble effect, as shown in the picture
  • By the time preheat oven on 180 to 200 degrees
  • Now, bake the cake on 180 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes and keep it inside the oven till completely cool
  • Demould the cake, soft spongy beautiful patterned marble cake is ready cut into pieces and serve
  • Garnish as you like and serve with lots of love
