Preheat oven at 180°
Grease round mould
Mix sugar and curd till creamy
Add baking soda and baking powder and mix
Add vanilla essence and mix
Add flour and mix in cut and fold method
Add grated carrot and mix
Transfer this batter in grease tray and bake for 20 mins or till the toothpick inserted comes out clear
Cool on wire rack
Meanwhile cake is baking make caramel sauce for this melt half cup sugar in a pan
As sugar melts add butter in it and stir continuously
As butter melts add cream and stir continuously flame should be low
Cook till cream completely incorporate in sugar -batter mixture
Turn off the flame and let it cool
Cut cake in two slices and apply whipped cream evenly
Pour caramel sauce over it and decorate with chopped nuts
