Ingredients

Serves 8

  • 1 cup wheat flour

  • 1 cup all purpose flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • Half of 1 tsp baking soda

  • Half of 1 cup curd

  • 60 gram butter

  • Half of 1 cup grated jaggery

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 orange's juice

  • 1 cup walnuts

  • 1 egg

  • For decoration - 200 gram Italian cheese

  • Half of 1 cup icing sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 1 cup ground walnuts

Directions

    Take a Big Bowl add wheat flour ,all purpose flour ,baking soda, baking powder and salt. Sieve two or three times.

    In a separate bowl add melted butter in the jaggery and beat well.

    Now add orange juice and zest in the Jaggery mix and mix all the ingredients well

    Now add egg and curd and beat them well

  • 05

    Now add all the dry ingredients in the Jaggery mix and mix it well.

    Add the walnuts in the mixture

    Now grease the baking tin and dust it with some flour and pour the mixture in it.

    Place is baking tin in the preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 45 minutes

    Now check the cake with the tooth pick if it is ready or not

    When the toothpick comes out dry then let it cool

    Cut the cake in equal to halves.

    Mix icing sugar and vanilla essence in the cream cheese

    Beat them well and keep it aside

  • 14

    Now spread this cream cheese on the top of the first cake and place the second cake on it

  • 15

    Spread the cream cheese all over the cake

  • 16

    Sprinkle the ground walnuts on it nicely
