Dark Chocolate Ganache Cake

  • 1.5 cups All Purpose Flour

  • 1 tsp Baking Soda

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp Vinegar

  • 1 cup hot Water

  • 5 tbsp canola Oil

  • For ganache :- 200g chopped dark chocolate and 120g whipping Cream

  • Designer chocolate pcs 2-3


  • Sieve flour baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. Keep it aside
  • Preheat oven to 150, line cake tin
  • In a bowl, mix water, oil and sugar well. Add vinegar and vanilla extract. Whisk together
  • Slowly add dry ingredients and whisk until well combined. Pour batter into cake tin. Bake for 45 minutes until done
  • Allow the cake to cool for 15 minutes, demould and keep it aside
  • Warm the cream, pour it over dark chocolate. Allow to sit for a minute. Mix well. Now pour this over the cake. While cutting and serving the cake should be at room temperature to enjoy the rich flavour of Ganache
  • Decorate with designer chocolate pcs
