Whole wheat flour 2 cup
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
Deseeded dates 1/2 cup
Roasted sesame Seeds 2 tablespoons
Milk 1 cup
Non scented oil 1 tablespoon
Sprig vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
First sieve flour, baking powder , sugar and baking soda twice.
Now keep 1 tablespoon dates and few sesame seeds aside for garnishing.
Take rest dates, milk and oil in a jar and blend nicely.
Now add rest sesame seeds and vanilla extract in dry ingredients and mix again.
Now add dry ingredients in milk-dates puree in 2 batches and make lumpfree batter.
Now grease and dust baking tin. Add cake batter in it and sprinkle reserved dates and sesame seeds on it.
Now keep batter tin in preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
Do toothpick test or bake for another 5 minutes.
Healthy and super-delicious cake is ready to serve.
