Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Whole wheat flour 1 cup

  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Fennel powder 1/3 teaspoon

  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Baking soda 1/5 teaspoon

  • Powdered sugar 1/2 cup

  • Non-scented oil 1 tablespoon

  • Milk 1/3 cup

  • Sprig vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon

  • Edible green colour 2 drops

  • For garnishing: coloured fennel seeds

  • Whole cardamom

Directions

    First sieve flour, baking powder , powdered sugar and baking soda twice . Now add cardamom powder, fennel powder and vanilla extract. Mix nicely.

    Now mix oil, green colour and milk till everything Incorporated nicely .

    Start mixing liquid in dry ingredients in two batches.

    Prepare batter of medium consistency, neither thick nor so runny.

    Now pour ready batter in muffin moulds and bake for 2 minutes.

    When done , demould and garnish with coloured fennel and whole cardamom .

    Healthy and fragrant muffins are ready to serve.
