Wheat Flour 1 1/2 cups
Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
Baking Soda 1/4 teaspoon
Condensed milk 3/4
Brown Sugar 1/4 cup
Ghee 3 big tablespoons
Butter 6 tablespoons
warm milk 3/4 cup or as required
500 ml milk
1/2 cup unrefined Sugar
Pinch Of Baking Soda 1/4 teaspoon
Handful of Cashew nuts and Almonds broken into small pieces 8-10 tablespoon
Almond extract few drop's ( 1-2 drops only)
Condensed milk recipe; heat 500ml milk , sugar and soda and let it reduce to almost 1/4 of its quantity. Keep stirring in intervals so that it doesn't burn.
Preheat oven at 180 degree.
Sift flour, baking powder and soda for a few times and keep aside.
Beat together butter, ghee, brown sugar, condensed milk, some warm milk and almond extract, till the mixture looks smooth.
Add the flour and beat well.
Add more milk only if required for free flowing consistency.
Pour in the prepared cake baking tin, tap the tin over the counter for a few times, to level the batter.
Sprinkle broken cashewnuts and almonds on top of cake, bake for 40 minutes, or until skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Let the pan cool over a wire rack for 5 minutes.
Can store in airtight container for a week in refrigerator.
serve warm with Tea or Coffee
