Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • Maida 1 1/2cup


  • Cocoa powder 2 tbsp


  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp


  • Salt 1/4 tsp


  • Tomato Red colour 1tsp


  • Buttermilk 1cup


  • Butter 1/4 cup


  • Powdered Sugar 1 cup


  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp


  • Egg 2


  • Baking Soda 1/4 tsp


  • Vinegar 1/2 tsp


  • Whipped cream 1 small bowl


  • Sugar water syrup 3-4 tablespoon

Directions

  • Sift flour , salt , baking powder , cocoa powder and salt
  • Beat butter , sugar ,vanilla essence and egg
  • Add food colour to buttermilk
  • Add little flour mixture and buttermilk mixture and mix in
  • Take vinegar and baking soda and mix
  • Give a quick stir and add to the batter and mix well
  • Pre -Heat oven at 180 degree for 10 minutes
  • Pour the batter in Greece baking cake tin lined with butter paper sheet
  • Bake for 40 minutes till toothpick inserted comes out clean
  • Cool well
  • Now divide the mixture in layers put sugar water syrup and whipped cream in each layer, repeat the process finally cover the cake nicely all over
  • From this cake, the first layer which we cut, make chura of it
  • Now will use this for decorating the cake, this way
  • Finally cover from all sides
  • Take out in a card board
  • Now make top by using piping bag, insert a star nozzle inside, serve decorated
