Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour


  • 3/4 cup Instant Oats


  • 1 cup Powder Sugar


  • 1 cup curds


  • 1 cup vegetables oil


  • 2-3 tablespoon milk


  • 1 teaspoon baking powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda


  • 1 teaspoon Sprig Vanilla extract


  • 2 cups of whipped cream


  • 1/2 cup of chocolate shavings

Directions

  • 1. Grease an 8 inch round cake tin.
  • 2. Pre heat the oven at 170 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • 3. In a bowl add curds , sugar and vanilla extract and mix well. Now add oil and mix.
  • 4. Add baking soda and baking powder and mix well till the curds reacts to it and thickens.
  • 5. Add the oats and mix well and whisk it well.
  • 6. Add sieved flour and mix well.
  • 7. This would be thick, now we can add milk and mix well.
  • 8. At this stage our cake batter should be like a ribbon.
  • 9. Bake this at 170 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
  • 10. Once baked, remove from the oven and cool on the rack for 15 minutes.
  • 11. Unmould and cool completely before applying cream on the cake.
  • 12. Take whipped cream, and apply on the cake as needed. I have used it in the centre of the cake too.
  • 13. Add some chocolate shavings .
