  • Semolina/ Suji or Rawa 1 and 1/2 cup

  • Milk 1 cup

  • Eggs 2 or Fresh Curd 1 cup

  • Sprig Vanilla Extract 1/2 -1 teaspoon

  • Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Powder sugar 1 cup

  • Oil 1 cup

  • Greased and dusted cake tin 1


  • In a mixing bowl take semolina, milk, sprig vanilla extract and curd , mix well well and keep covered aside for half and hour
  • Later , in a mixing bowl take oil and eggs or curd , with the help of hand blender , beat well until light and fluffy
  • Now add baking powder and baking soda to soaking semolina and mix well everything
  • Now add beaten oil and eggs or curd mixture to soaked semolina
  • Mix well everything in to a uniform mixture
  • By the time, preheat oven on 180 degrees
  • Take a greased and dusted cake tin, transfer the ready cake batter into it
  • Bake a cake for approximately 20-30 minutes on 180 degrees
  • Later , prick a knife in middle of cake , if it comes out clean, it means cake is ready . Allow it to cool down for sometime and then demould
  • Garnish as you like, cut and and serve
  • Enjoy endlessly fibre rich Semolina Cake or Suji cake
  • My tip, if you don't have oven , you can always bake a cake in a heavy bottom pan , by placing some salt or sand in botton amd then cake tin over it ,bake in very low heat, rest process is same
