Ingredients
Serves 6
Semolina/ Suji or Rawa 1 and 1/2 cup
Milk 1 cup
Eggs 2 or Fresh Curd 1 cup
Sprig Vanilla Extract 1/2 -1 teaspoon
Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Powder sugar 1 cup
Oil 1 cup
Greased and dusted cake tin 1
Directions
In a mixing bowl take semolina, milk, sprig vanilla extract and curd , mix well well and keep covered aside for half and hour
Later , in a mixing bowl take oil and eggs or curd , with the help of hand blender , beat well until light and fluffy
Now add baking powder and baking soda to soaking semolina and mix well everything
Now add beaten oil and eggs or curd mixture to soaked semolina
Mix well everything in to a uniform mixture
By the time, preheat oven on 180 degrees
Take a greased and dusted cake tin, transfer the ready cake batter into it
Bake a cake for approximately 20-30 minutes on 180 degrees
Later , prick a knife in middle of cake , if it comes out clean, it means cake is ready . Allow it to cool down for sometime and then demould
Garnish as you like, cut and and serve
Enjoy endlessly fibre rich Semolina Cake or Suji cake
My tip, if you don't have oven , you can always bake a cake in a heavy bottom pan , by placing some salt or sand in botton amd then cake tin over it ,bake in very low heat, rest process is same
