  • All purpose flour 1 cup

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

  • Refined oil 1/2 cup

  • Yoghurt 1/2 cup

  • Milk 1/2 cup

  • Grated apple 1 cup

  • Pomegranated juice 1/2 cup

  • Powdered sugar 4 tbs

  • Lemon juice 1 tbs

  • Baking powder 1 tbs

  • Baking soda 1 tbs

  • Sprig vanilla essence 1 tbs


  • Sieve the flour , baking powder , baking soda thrice.
  • Now in a mixing bowl add oil , sugar , yoghurt , grated apple and whisk very well. Now add dry ingredient into wet mixture. Add milk little by little combine together to make a perfect bater.. Add sprig vanilla essence and incorporate together.
  • Mean while grease the tin with oil and duat flour. Preheat the pan for atleast 10 minutes. Pour the bater and tap twice to release air bubbles.
  • Now place the tin and bake for 45 minutes. After 45 mins check with toothpick and cool it down on a wire rack.
  • Demould the cake and slice the cake into cubes.
  • Next preheat the pan and pour pomegranate juice. Next add powdered sugar and mix for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the sauce will become thick add lemon juice and turn off the flame. Allow the saice to cool it down completely and keep it in a fridge.
  • Take apple slices and cut into heart shape by cookie cutter into heart shape. Insert toothpick and keep aside.
  • Now arrange the cake cubes , drizzle pomegranate sauce and decorate with heart shape apple pieces.
  • Serve and enjoy.
