Ingredients

Serves 6

  • Maida 90 gms

  • Caster sugar 90 gms

  • Melted Butter 90 gms

  • Milk 375 ml

  • Sprig vanilla Extract 1 tblspn

  • 3 Large Eggs

  • 1 tsp Icing sugar for dusting on cake

  • 1 cherry to decorate cake

  • 1 tblspn Water

Directions

    Separate egg white and egg yolks in 2 bowls.

    In egg yolks add 1 tblspn chilled water, caster sugar and whisk well.

    Add melted butter and whisk well till mixture become creamy.

    Add in Sprig Vanilla extract and flour and mix well.

    Add milk gradually and make a thin smooth better.

    Keep aside.

    In a separate bowl whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form.

    Add maringue (Egg white mixture) to cake better and fold with a spatula very carefully.

    Cake better is ready.

    Pour this cake better in 8 inch cake tin greased and Lined with butter paper.

    Bake at 150 degrees for 60-70 minutes untill the top of the cake turns golden brown.

    Cool down the cake completely and demould the cake.

    Dust some icing sugar on top decorate with a cherry.

    Serve this cake after chilling in fridge.

    This cake is called magic cake due to its 3 layers which came out with a single thin better. Only a single thin better, 60 minutes wait and then magic happens. When you cut the cake you will see 3 different layers. Top layer is Sponge, middle layer is creamy custard and the bottom layer is fudge. Must try this recipe its a pure heaven.
