Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 2 Cup all purpose flour


  • 1 cup milk


  • 1 tsp baking soda


  • 170 grams butter


  • 2 tsp baking powder


  • 1 tsp vanilla essence


  • 1 tsp nutmeg powder


  • 1½ cup brown sugar


  • 2 eggs


  • 2 tbsp rose water


  • For decoration- 1 tbsp honey


  • half of 1 cup pistachios


  • 2 tbsp edible rose

Directions

  • Sieve all purpose flour baking soda and baking powder for 3 to 4 times
  • In a mixing bowl add butter ,milk , sugar,cannula essence, nutmeg powder ,eggs and rose water
  • Beat all the ingredients until light and fluffy
  • Now add flour mixture in this batter and fold it well
  • Add some of the pistachios also
  • Grease a baking tin dust it with flour
  • Pour the mixture in the baking tin
  • Place it in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes
  • Let the cake get cool, remove from the oven
  • Firstly pour the honey over the cake and sprinkle rest of the pistachios
  • Then decorate with edible roses or patels of rose
