Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1½ cup wheat flour


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1 tsp baking soda


  • 1 tsp instant coffee


  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder


  • 2 tbsp lukewarm milk


  • ¾ of 1 cup sugar


  • half of 1 cup curd


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp vanilla essence


  • 1 tbsp instant coffee


  • 4 tbsp jaggery powder


  • 2 tbsp Honey


  • 1 tbsp mint leaves for decoration

Directions

  • In the flour add baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder
  • Add coffee powder in the flour mixture, mix well and keep it aside
  • In the lukewarm milk add sugar, butter ,and curd.
  • Mix them well ,now add vanilla essence
  • Combine liquid batter with dry flour mix
  • Grease the cake Tin and dust it with the flour
  • Pour batter into the cake tin
  • Bake it for 20 minutes at 200 degree Celsius
  • in another Pan roast coffee for 15 seconds
  • Add water, jaggery, butter, and honey and boil till thick
  • Demold the cake on serving plate
  • Pour jaggery glaze on the top
  • Decorate with mint leaves , cut and serve
