Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 1/2 cup / 180 grams

  • Sugar – 1 cup / 200 grams

  • Olive Oil – 3 tblspn

  • Yoghurt / Curd – 1/2 cup / 120 ml

  • Orange Zest from 2 oranges

  • Orange Juice from 1 orange

  • Baking powder – 1 tsp

  • Baking Soda – 1/2 tsp

  • Salt – 1/4 tsp

  • Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 170 Degree C

    Take flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl and mix well. Set this aside till use.

    Zest couple of oranges and juice one whole orange and set aside.

    Line the bottom of the loaf pan with parchment paper and oil all the sides of the pan. Set this aside till use.

    Take sugar, vanilla in a large bowl and mix well.

    Add in oil and mix till it is combined.

    Add in curd and mix well.

    Now add in the orange zest and orange juice and mix well.

    Now add in the flour mixture and combine it gently.

    Pour this entire thing into the loaf pan and bake it for 45-50 mins.

    Remove from the pan and check whether it is cooked by inserting a toothpick.

    Let it cool completely before removing from the tin. Slice and Serve.
